Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to help you make the positive changes you want and to help you to safely overcome stresses and problems you may have. During a hypnotic state, you are able to open your unconscious mind to beneficial suggestions and where you can make use of your imagination to help make positive changes in your life. The unconscious mind is where our beliefs, values, emotions and past events are stored. During hypnosis, you are able to tap into the power of your unconscious mind to bring about positive change. Hypnotherapy can greatly improve your life in a more positive way including the way you feel about both yourself and how you perceive the world around you.

    Neuro-Linguistic Programming

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a set of techniques that are extremely powerful in creating long lasting changes in an individual’s
attitudes, beliefs, thought process and behavior.

Basically, NLP is a like having an instruction manual and advanced re-programming software for the mind. When we were born, we didn’t come with an instruction manual.

Instead, we had beliefs, perceptions, behaviors installed in us at an early age from those various stimuli – our parents, our peers, schoolteachers…and so on. Some of those behaviors we developed from a young age to protect or compensate for something may or may not be useful to us as adults.

    What To Expect

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation, a natural state of heightened awareness during which the client is able to calmly concentrate intensely and effectively. It is almost like being in a day dream. We all enter into a hypnotic state several times every day without even realizing it: watching TV, reading books and newspapers, driving a car (ever got from A to B concentrating on your journey yet not remembering how you got there?!).

Hypnosis is a very powerful intervention, that can be extremely effective in helping people overcome particular issues. The reason why it is so effective is because hypnosis talks directly to the client’s unconscious mind, the place where all learning, behavior and change takes place. And the unconscious mind makes changes very quickly. Wouldn’t it be beneficial to change negative behaviors, bad habits and develop new positive ones using Hypnosis?

Are you feeling stressed and anxious, sapped by negative emotions, indulging in bad habits or unhelpful behaviours or feeling generally unfulfilled? Or perhaps you are feeling ‘stuck in a rut’, can’t see a way out and generally frustrated with things?

Did you know that you are actually in charge of your mind and therefore, your results? Did you know that you already have ALL the resources within you to realize your true potential by merely tapping into them, before right now? Through hypnotherapy, I can help you to let go of any negative emotions and to bring positive change to your life using various techniques to empower yourself and to enable you … Does that sound good?

    Do You Have Questions?

A list of frequently asked questions about Hypnosis

Will I reveal personal secrets in a session?

Hypnosis may help people express what they want or need but cannot make them reveal secrets against their will. Everyone has a ‘critical faculty barrier’ which alerts their conscious mind should anything unwanted arise.

Will I lose control in a Hypnosis session?

Hypnosis is a very deep state of relaxation where you are fully in control of yourself. The therapist is simply a guide who you allow to lead you through the process. Hypnosis can only occur if you want it and are happy to allow it to happen.

Will I lose consciousness during hypnosis?

Under hypnosis, you are fully conscious but in a very deep state of relaxation. You are aware of your surroundings and of what you are doing. Even in the unlikely event of something happening to the therapist you will still wake up of your own accord.

Imagine if you could get up in the morning and spring out of bed feeling happy and motivated while eagerly looking forward to the future? Think about what would happen if you were able to overcome obstacles to success, solve emotional problems, improve your confidence and self-esteem and be in control of your life? Consider that for a moment. For many people, life’s stresses control them and their emotional state which is harmful for both mind and body. Wouldn’t it be better to let go of negative emotions and events in the past and to create a brighter and compelling future? Does that feel good? Do you like the sound of that?
