What is HCG?

It performs such important functions as bedding the kidneys in soft elastic tissue, protecting the coronary arteries and keeping the skin smooth and taut. It also provides the springy cushion of hard fat under the bones of the feet, without which we would be unable to walk.
Normal fat is the normal reserve of fuel which the body can freely draw upon when the nutritional income from the intestinal tract is insufficient to meet the demand of the body. Let us term this the “checking account”. We make deposits and withdrawals. Normal fat packs the highest caloric value into the smallest space for muscular activity and the maintenance of body temperature. These reserves are located all over the body.

Q) What is the fee for the first Hormone/HCG/Consultation visit?
A) The initial visit fee is $250.00 - This does not include labs. If you have insurance the labs can be done through your insurance so the office visit is all that you will need to pay at that time. If you would like labs drawn in the office, the labs will be $250, so the total visit will be $500

B) How much is the Hormone therapy program?
Because Dr. Clairborne customized her plans, it’s difficult to quote the price over the phone. However, once Dr. Clairborne sees you and gets an idea of what you most likely you will need, she will give you pricing at that time.

C) What is Pellet Therapy?
Pellet therapy is another type of bioidentical hormone replacement in which I insert tiny slow release pellets into the subcutaneous tissue (just under the skin). These therapies usually last for 3-6 months depending on the person’s metabolism and dosing.
- We now offer this service as an alternative to injections in men and creams in women.

D) How much is the HCG Weight Loss Program? What does that include?
The HCG program cost for each cycle is $400. This includes the diet plan, the injectable HCG, syringes, needles, sharps containers, B-Lipo Energy injection, and weekly weigh ins w/10 min check in consult each week. This cost DOES NOT include the initial consultation nor does it include lab work if needed. Each cycle is a minimum of 25 days (not last more than 40 days, and typically 30 days). During this cycle you will be placed on a 500-800 calorie diet in addition to the HCG and Lipo B Energy injections. You must rest between cycles. Dr. Clairborne will explain further details of the program during the first visit.

E) What is the cost after the initial cycle? What are the Follow up costs?
Also after their cycle is over, their full follow up visit will take place. The cost for this visit is $150 and that includes their transitional and maintenance plan for their off cycle. If they should choose they may do a second cycle after waiting 6 weeks from the time they finish their first cycle.

F) Do you offer the HCG drops instead of injections?
Yes. We offer HCG drops, however in our experience, the HCG injections are the most effective in mobilizing the proper fat needed to lose the desired weight. Again, Dr. Clairborne will explain further details of the program during the first visit.
